So, by now, I’m about 30 minutes into now being old enough to drink, gamble and rent cars in the US (I turned 21. Yay.). I’m more of an “adult” legally than I have been before, and I’m not sure if I can handle that responsibility yet, notwithstanding that my graduation from college is imminent and I’ll soon be thrust into the unknown. Hopefully medical school can postpone real life for a little bit longer.
At the same time, it’s been about two months since this blog has begun, which is nearly not enough time to critically look back at it, so I won’t. It’s been fun, and I expect to continue working on it for a while, since watching and writing about anime hasn’t gotten tiring yet. The amount of potential ideas the medium has that can be thought up and the many different facets it has that can be seen are numerous and interesting, and I will attempt to continue trying to go outside of the box to bring out a variety of these things (while failing and staying more inside-box than I’ll ever know
).
To those who have been reading it from the beginning, those who have just joined in the fun, and those who I’ve been an attention whore in order to get them to take a look at it, thank you. Hopefully Drastic My Anime Blog will continue to be entertaining, informative, and a/an (whatever other positive characteristics I can think of) blog to you in the future.
Speaking of anime I’m watching, I will say that Hidamari Sketch episode 5 is pure Shinbo; that Momo, while awesome, is a stalker; and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is good, but not very hot-blooded yet (based on the first episode, so take that with a grain of powdered salt). And scene…

I’m afraid that car rental companies will continue to look down at you for 3 more years. But congratulations all the same!
Congrats on the big two-one.
Just blog whatever stuff that interests you. From your comments on other blogs, you sure have a lot to talk about. Just channel all those thoughts in your posts and readers will come.
It’s weird you know, people never feel as old as they are. Time continually pushes ahead of us, moving faster than we’d prefer.
And Pete is right, most car companies will give you a hard time until you’re 24.
Have a good one, no, a great one, today.
congrats~
Put off reality for as long as you can. Just kidding, but if you can swing more schooling then go for it. After all we need more crazy white lab coat types.
Oh, happy belated and all that jazz. Nice blog btw, subscribed. (:
Happy belated birthday! I’m actually going to a party to celebrate a friend’s similar achievement tonight. I just quickly read through some of your recent posts and it looks like good stuff (esp. the one on hooks) so I’m going to keep an eye on your writing, partly to inspire me out of my slump of sorts.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a normal Friday, which was what I expected/wanted.
It’s been an interesting experience writing this so far. I had thought about writing an anime blog before, but it never was really serious. So when I first got a serious urge to do it (A.K.A. “Why not?”), I decided to jump on it. So far, other than wondering what to write about, I’ve had no problems with it. As I’m slowly starting to know new people because of this, writing this might also have some benefits to it. Who knows?
We are lucky enough to become an “adult” legally when we turn 18 so I guess this means we can get gamble, get drunk etc earlier over here in aus hehe.
happy bday! keep on posting i love ur articles. goodluck on ur graduate studies =)
TokiDoki: Grass is greener and all that jazz. :3
