Aria fans: GN6 on December 28

by dm00

This is the Japanese cover. The English cover will probably have that 60s-era futuristic font for the title that TokyoPop has used on the other volumes.

First Taisho Baseball Girls, and now this. Merry Christmas.

Why for fucks sake does it take so long to release a volume ?

      Low sales, I suspect.

ADV Manga brought out the first three volumes of Aria, then went under. TokyoPop went back and started with Aqua, Kozue Amano’s series that introduced transformed Mars, Neo-Venezia, and Akari to us, then brought out the first four volumes of Aria in quick succession.

Then TokyoPop had some troubles. When Aria volume five was released, it was a happy day — one that I didn’t really expect to see repeated, even though RightStuf/Nozomi Entertainment were bringing out the anime.

Now volume 6! Buy it, and maybe there will be a volume 7.

    And a Happy New Year!

It’s kinda scary imagining how at the rate TokyoPop is moving I could be married and have a family by the time this series finishes. I’m still in college!
